KAP is here! GLO Within Services now offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

At GLO Within Services, Ketamine- Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an expansion of therapy, not a replacement for it. It is where modern neuroscience meets embodied healing, cultural wisdom, and deep emotional exploration. KAP is for clients who have done the work, tried the traditional paths, and still feel like something inside is asking for a deeper shift.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a holistic modality where ketamine is used as a therapeutic support to psychotherapy. It creates a gentle opening in the mind and nervous system that allows insight, emotional release, and reconnection to self in ways that talk therapy alone may not always reach.

This is not about escaping. It is about remembering, reframing, and restoring.

KAP may be a powerful option if you feel:

  • Stuck despite years of therapy
  • Disconnected from your body or emotions
  • Carrying trauma that feels stored deeper than words
  • Curious about healing that honors both science and spirit

What Is Ketamine?

Ketamine is a legal, safe, and evidence-based medication used in mental health care to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic emotional distress. It is known for:

  • Rapid antidepressant effects, often felt within hours
  • Supporting mood regulation for up to two weeks
  • Enhancing neuroplasticity, helping the brain create new pathways
  • Quieting rigid thought loops and emotional overwhelm

In KAP, ketamine creates the opening. Therapy gives that opening meaning.

Getting Started with KAP

Your journey begins with preparation. We explore:

  • Your goals and intentions
  • Your mental and emotional readiness
  • Safety screening and prescriber coordination
  • How to support your nervous system before and after sessions

Music, environment, and intentional grounding practices are integrated to support the experience in a way that feels sacred, contained, and culturally attuned.
